Orinocoが日本市場において契約をした米国発のオンラインサービスの利用者を最大化するのがミッションとなります。プロダクト・マネジメント、マーケティング、そして時には営業活動を通して、このサービスを国内で同セグメント内で最大のサービスに育て上げていく責任者としての醍醐味のある仕事です。

OrinocoのCMOへ直接レポートし、そして米国のライセンス元とも連携していくポジションです。

主な役割：

• サービス利用者を最大化するための戦略の考案
• 結果を週毎に分析し、CMOとライセンス元へレポート
• サービスに関する日本語ブログの開設と管理
• GoogleおよびYahoo!における検索広告キャンペーンを管理
• バナー広告、アフィリエート・プログラムの管理
• FacebookページやTwitterアカウントの管理
• 大型顧客への営業活動
• サイト・新機能のローカライズ
• クレジットカード以外の決済方法の追加
• その他CMOとCEOが必要と判断した作業

必要なスキル：

• 最低2年のマーケティング経験、オンライン・マーケティング尚可

1. Product Marketing Manager

The ultimate mission for this product management role is to maximize the number of users for an online service that Orinoco has newly partnered with for the Japanese market. Through a combination of product management, marketing, and in some cases sales activities, the product marketing manager will be responsible for making the service the primary choice in its segment.

The position will report to the CMO of Orinoco, and will also work closely with various personnel at the licensor's headquarters in the United States.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Devise overall strategy to acquire a large number of new users for the service.
• Track results on a weekly basis and report to CMO and licensor.
• Manage dedicated blog in Japanese that covers various topics concerning the service.
• Manage keyword advertisement activities on Google and Yahoo!; manage inventory, track results and modify/improve activities.
• Manage display ad campaigns and affiliate programs, both with internal resources and third-party partners.
• Launch and manage Facebook pages and Twitter account.
• Lead select sales and demonstration activities for potential large clients.
• Assist in localization of the site and new features.
• Assist in implementing additional payment methods.
• Other activities as deemed necessary by CMO and CEO.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of marketing experience, preferably in online marketing
• Strong communication skills, both in Japanese and English
• Multi-tasking skills
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
• Enthusiastic self-starter who can thrive in a startup environment

2. Software Development Engineer

Orinoco is looking for a Software Development that will work on development of its current range of products and services, as well as new ones still in the inception stage. The responsibilities will cover a wide range of products, so get ready to do a lot. We are a young, ambitious and aggressive company but with experienced personnel in the marketing and development teams from companies such as Amazon, Apple, SixApart, Yahoo! and IBM; we believe that this opportunity presents an exciting learning experience, not to mention a lot of fun!

Role and Responsibilities:

• Development of Orinoco’s e-commerce service platform
• Localization of Orinoco’s licensed services from overseas
• Development of new products and services

Qualifications:

We seek experience in:

• Website programming: HTML, CSS
• Linux (Unix)
• Perl
• Apache
• Javascript: JQuery, Yahoo UI toolkit, Google Web Toolkit, etc.
• SQL
• Frontend performance testing
• Templating systems such as Mason, PHP, Smarty, TemplateToolkit
• Catalyst experience or another web framework using MVC paradigm (such as Django, Rails, Spring framework) is a plus

We are a multi-cultural, bilingual company, therefore a good command of written and spoken English would be a plus.
